It’s just two days until the Kent Digital Awards, a new award ceremony celebrating digital innovation and progressive thinking by businesses across the county.
mhs homes entered two categories in the awards: ‘responsive website’ and ‘best use of social media for business’.
We are lucky to be shortlisted in the social media category, up against businesses including The Barn Pub and Restaurant (Tunbridge Wells), Haynes Ford (Maidstone), Kent Sports News, Kreston Reeves LLP, London House & Abode and Sevenoaks Candle Company.
Writing the entry for the awards showed me how our social media approach and following has developed recently at mhs homes. We’ve seen a total follower increase of 45% on all social media channels (in the last financial year); our customer service team now monitor and respond to customer enquiries on social every day and social is becoming the first choice of contact for some customers.
We’ve seen almost a 40% increase in customer queries on social since the customer service team took over, which is a glowing indication of the team’s abilities to resolve issues and give fast responses.
From a corporate communications perspective it’s also great to have been involved in national campaigns such as #HousingDay and #HomesforBritain, where we’ve been able to do new things with social, using new platforms and tools.
Thanks to the the Kent Digital Awards for recognising our work and shortlisting us. We’re looking forward to a fun evening on Thursday!
